Sterling Scalper — surgical entries on GBPUSD (no indicators)
Sterling Scalper is the quintessence of my proprietary manual system coded into an EA. No indicators, only pure price action: impulse → short pause → reverse breakout by candle body.
The algorithm detects the exact points where the trend is "exhausted" and provides a sniper entry with quality filters: breakout body size, level clarity by candle bodies, spread, and trade discipline.

Risk management (settings)
Fixed lot
Auto risk = false
Fixed lot = 0.10 (example) — the EA will always open lot 0.10.
Auto risk (percentage of balance)
Auto risk = true
Risk percentage = 3 (default) — in case of stop loss, the loss per trade will be exactly 3% of the current balance.
Important about GMT
The EA needs to know broker server time relative to GMT. Time filters inside the strategy depend on it.

Out of the box:

UseDST_Europe = true
This is the EET/EEST preset (winter +2 / summer +3) — the most common among MT brokers with “New York close” (5 daily candles). Examples: IC Markets, Pepperstone, FP Markets, Tickmill, RoboMarkets/RoboForex, XM, FXPro, Axi, Vantage, Eightcap, FXOpen AU, HFM (HotForex) and many others. If your broker is in this list — no changes needed.
Other options (examples)
- GMT+0 all year: Winter = 0, Summer = 0, UseDST_Europe = false
- GMT+3 all year: 3 / 3, UseDST_Europe = false
- GMT+2 all year: 2 / 2, UseDST_Europe = false
- With DST: specify winter/summer offsets and set UseDST_Europe = true
How to check broker GMT quickly: ask support “what is the server GMT offset in winter/summer, do you use DST?” or compare terminal Journal time with world GMT.
