Overview
Introduction and Description
Ronin is a FOREX trading robot based on the mathematical principles of financial arbitrage between different assets. Ronin's main aim is to execute a large number of trades while staying at breakeven / profit in order to earn the maximum amount of commission rebates, i.e. the commissions offered by a broker to its partners.
Forex IBs (Introducing Brokers) receive a fixed or variable commission (aka rebate) for every trade made by their referred clients. Forex brokers come with different types of partner commission structure, the most common type is Commission per lot which is a fixed rebate per each lot.
To use the bot, launch it on any chart, any timeframe.
Below is a list of the different characteristics of the expert advisor:- Arbitrage.
- Stoploss and Takeprofit.
- Low drawdown.
- Multicurrency trading compatible.
- Very simple configuration.
The traded account should be in accordance with the following requirements:
- Average maximum spread of 20 for each symbol. (The more the spread, the lesser the profits). Spread can be variable.
- Low slippage and fast execution speed.
- No minimum balance. (EA can operate using minimum lot size).
Inputs
- Magic Number: expert's Magic Number.
- Trade commission per lot: if the broker has a fee per trade opening, this input should be set to the value of the commission per lot.
- Trade volume: fixed volume of the trades.
- Triangle count: maximum count of arbitrage triangles to be opened at the same time.
Strategies
As explained, Ronin is a normal expert advisor, but is also made to profit from IB rebates and commission. It is therefore even more beneficial to register as an IB with a broker that offers rebates. Ronin can also be used on any broker or prop firm allowing arbitrage trading, even with no IB commission.
Results
Ronin is currently used on real accounts. Furthermore, the bot has been backtested on 100% accurate data provided by DUKASCOPY as well as the UAE government's central bank. The attached screenshots demonstrate the quality of the historical results.
