Most AI EAs That Can Be Easily Backtested Are Scams

We all know that using AI (referring to large language models) requires sending requests. However, the MQL5 documentation explicitly states: WebRequest() cannot be executed in the Strategy Tester.

Therefore, those AI EAs that can be easily backtested are basically scams—or at best, the AI in their EA only plays a decorative or optional role.

For AI EAs that can still be easily backtested in periods after their latest update date, we can confidently say they are scams. For periods before the update date, we could at least generously assume that some AI outputs were embedded into the EA’s executable file. But for periods after the latest update date, this assumption no longer holds.
