Hedging Cycle Pro is a fully automated EA designed for traders who want a disciplined, rules-based approach to capturing short-term market reversals. The system uses Average True Range (ATR) and Bollinger Bands to identify “pressure points” in the market, placing pending buy and sell stop orders near key volatility thresholds.

Key Features:

• Proximity-Only Band Anchoring: Orders are only placed when price is near upper or lower Bollinger Bands, reducing unnecessary market entries.

• One-Trade-Per-Day Option: Avoids overtrading by restricting initial placement to a single cycle per session/day if desired.

• Automatic Opposite Trade Management: Optionally closes opposite trades when stop loss is hit, reducing unnecessary drawdowns.

• On-Chart Status Label: Displays current cycle count, lot size, and EA state for easy monitoring.

Trading Strategy:

• The EA monitors upper and lower Bollinger Bands as dynamic support/resistance levels.

• Pending orders are placed near these bands when ATR-based volatility conditions are met.

• Reversal logic allows the EA to scale positions intelligently if initial orders are triggered, following a defined hedging cycle.

Risk Management:

• Configurable stop loss (SL) and take profit (TP) in pips.

• ATR-based gating filters out trades in periods of extreme or low volatility.

• Optional single initial trade per session/day to reduce exposure.

• Maximum cycles prevent runaway hedging positions.

What to test immediately after purchase

1. Verify broker min lot / lot step and set FixedLot accordingly.

2. Run forward/backtests on at least two market regimes (quiet and trending weeks).

3. Check MaxSpread relative to your broker typical spreads during session open.

4. If you see late-close blocking, confirm OneTradePerDay semantics (EA uses initial placement time).
